By installing, accessing, or using ReturnBoard ("the Service"), you (the Shopify merchant) agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service.
ReturnBoard is a Shopify app that helps merchants manage product returns on a Kanban board. Subject to your plan, the Service may allow you to:
You must operate a valid Shopify store and have authority to bind the store to these Terms. You are responsible for staff who access the embedded app under your shop.
Plans include Free and paid tiers (Starter, Pro, Enterprise) as shown in the app Billing page and App Store listing. Install starts on Free. The first paid plan approval may include a Shopify Billing trial (currently 14 days). Limits (staff, monthly returns, features) apply per plan.
Paid plans are charged through the Shopify Billing API. You authorize Shopify to charge the payment method on file for subscription fees according to your approved charge.
You may cancel a paid subscription in Shopify Admin or via the app Billing flow. Cancellation typically takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless Shopify indicates otherwise. Uninstalling the app ends access; data handling is described in Section 7 and the Privacy Policy.
You retain rights to your store and customer data. We process that data only to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are the controller for your customers’ personal data; we act as a processor / service provider for board operations.
The Service (software, designs, and our content) is owned by ReturnBoard and protected by applicable laws. Shopify trademarks remain Shopify’s property.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes while installed and in good standing.
When you uninstall the Service, access ends and we purge shop-scoped data in response to Shopify’s app/uninstalled and shop/redact webhooks, as described in our Privacy Policy and GDPR page.
You may also request export or deletion while installed via /app/export and /app/data-deletion, or by emailing jasonhh5276@gmail.com.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RETURNBOARD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING REFUNDS, RESTOCKS, OR SHOPIFY API OUTAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PREVIOUS 12 MONTHS (OR USD $0 IF YOU ONLY USED THE FREE PLAN).
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Shopify API behavior and payment gateway outcomes are outside our sole control.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or if required by Shopify or law, with or without prior notice when necessary.
Upon termination or uninstall, cease using the Service. Data deletion follows Section 7 and the Privacy Policy.
Disputes should first be raised with jasonhh5276@gmail.com for good-faith resolution. If unresolved, disputes will be handled under applicable law in a competent forum, without limiting either party’s right to seek injunctive relief for misuse of the Service.
We may update these Terms by posting at https://return-board.fly.dev/terms-of-service and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
